Dear summer: I’m finally going camping! I got my paycheck and I’m going to end up spending it poorly. My friends Austin, Barry, Aaron, and Alex (who, by the way, is home from the Marines) are all going to Van Buren State Park in South Haven to act like woodland creatures. The place isn’t all that rustic, but at this time of year, there are virtually no campers in the back section of the campground. So naturally, we reserved a spot all the way out there so we can be loud and gross and all dat. It’s going to be a good time.

One of these days, though, I’d like to camp out there somewhere by myself. Get some self-reflection time in (if you could call it that). Maybe I’ll do that soon. I’ve got a pile of books to read and a few empty notebooks to fill. Any way, I should get going. Thank you for the weather, summer. I’m glad you’ve come out of your shell. Atleast for a little bit.
